Nice shots- tough to get, takes alot of patience! I'm trying to ID the bottom pic species, n the hooded specimen on the other blog post, because they're not native in my area- Can't dig out my "Birds of North America" now... too buried. The woodpecker I recognize, we have them also, along with Downy Woodpeckers, which are smaller n striped.
